Speed of Light – Copenhagen Metro #6

A collection inspired on the fast moving NFT world. Such a sense of speed in these images, was created using specialist camera equipment and techniques by artist Tony Sellen. Spending over a week riding around the metro network in the Danish Capital Copenhagen, Tony picked the best railway infrastructure locations to create these impressive artworks. Københavns Metro has a system stretching over 38km, with 4 lines and 39 stations. Using driverless trains gave the opportunity to see out the front or rear of the trains, helping create this art collection.

<Speed of Light> collection image

Sometimes life feels like its moving too fast, even more so in the NFT world. Speed of Light is a collection of images created to show the speeds that we are currently travelling. All taken from the front, or back of metro trains weaving their way through underground networks. Using slow shutter speeds, the movement of the train is captured creating a real sense of speed. Shooting from a moving train into a dark tunnel comes with its challenges, yet artist Tony Sellen raised to the challenge. Years of experience and knowing what camera settings to use helped him create this collection of clean artworks. As an architectural photographer and also having a degree in railway engineering, Tony knew what he was looking for to create the perfect images.

Release one is 10 x 1:1 images from Copenhagen, Denmark. Once these have sold out another 10 x 1:1 images will be released from a different metro network. First refusal for the second release will go to collector’s current collectors.
