Bottom of the Well 10 (11/14/2020, R code). This piece is part of twenty selected generative artworks released as unique iterations (numbered 1-10), in a limited collection by Kenny Vaden: “A Human in Times of Chaos.” The background was first drawn in a faint bluish white. A central white circle was drawn in a random location, then edge coordinates were slightly jittered and expanded until they almost hit the boundaries of the image. Each point along the expanding circle was linked form radiating lines. Finally, tiles were drawn between each pair of lines using a coordinate shrinking function. Thirty layers that included up to five consecutive tiles were drawn in each radiation, and filled with a gray color gradient based on line scaled distance from the center, with some noise added. The image dimensions for this file are 20x16.66 inches and 300 DPI, which produced a file size below the 40 MB limit but provides a higher resolution (more detail) than the original version shown online.
