Masan Holi - The Lord Shiva

There is a temple of Shiva at the cremation ground in Varanasi, where people offer prayers to Lord Shiva at Manikarnika Ghat. They resonate with Hara Hara Mahadev and dance to the folk song to reach the area where they are burning dead bodies.

The excitement fills the atmosphere of this place, and the devotees of Shiva start throwing pyres of the burning funeral at each other.

The devotees of Lord Shiva also wear different attires of Lord Shiva and resonate with him.

I have travelled to Varanasi on the occasion of Masan holi which was held on March 15th, 2022. I was very happy To witness such a unique Holi festival in the world, where the Holi is played with the Pyre of dead bodies.
