West Kansas Dawn, midwestern dawn. Collaboration with photographer Gabriel Dean Roberts.
Gabriel: "I was traveling from NYC to LA for business in the middle of the pandemic, and I rode the amtrak train instead of flying because I thought there would be more space and less likelihood of getting sick. On the dawn of the second day of the 3 day journey, I passed this little building at the water's edge as the train passed over some unknown river. That period was some kind of strange dream to me, a liminal anomaly in which life and death, beauty and terror all coalesced into a melancholy symphony. This image, in this lo-fi form captures all of that."
