As I was driving across America I was constantly trying to photograph iconic American locations. I wanted to be able to look back at my photographs years from now and remember the America of old. These mountains are such a staple of American nature and geography that it was a must see.
American Summer is a collection of some of my most fond memories from the road across Western America over the past 2 years. Using film as my medium of choice, my purpose while photographing was to capture small memories that people wish to remember, but often forget. Moments that you feel like you remember, but you were never actually there. This group of work was published in my first book, “American Summer” which sold out earlier this year.
Every collector will receive a signed, exclusive copy of the 2nd edition of my debut book, “American Summer” with unreleased and unique images.
I will update this project periodically as I continue to explore this beautiful country.
