Mohammed is a Kashmiri nomad whose family has traveled for centuries between summer pastures in the Himalayas and winter grazing grounds in the lowland plains. I met him while trekking to a lake in the mountain. He was looking after his sheep alone in that mountain valley. I captured a few pictures of him and exchanged some words with them for a while. I asked... What are you thankful for?
He said "The wind, It is free and it tells me that I'm alive."
A shepherd man whose only duty is to take care of his sheep's for which he looks after them throughout the clock, wind, sun, cold, rain nothing keeps him away from his responsibility, I don't know why they do it with that dedication. Whenever I see sheep's on the mountain I always look for the shepherd man, it's not that easy to spot him, he may be on top of a mountain watching his sheep's.
