Chronos grabbed the world's attention in 1962 when the manufacturer presented the first ever Omicron. The car oozes elegance and its sporty yet refined looks are admired by the public to this day. Chronos introduced the Omicron's successor in 1968, the Omicron II. While maintaining the theme of the model, Chronos managed to improve on its looks with a sleeker design and an increase in performance. The new generation Omicron included a 5-speed manual gearbox, an upgrade from the 4-speed manual gearbox from the previous model. With the upgrade in transmission, the Omicron II featured a 4.0 litre, in-line six-cylinder engine that was capable of delivering 282 horsepower and 390 Newton metres of torque. The car could accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. A total of 1099 units were ever produced and Chronos has 1024 of them still on record.
