Snoop reclaimed Death Row Records. Where it all began for Him... And minted some of his first songs through the reborn Death Row on the blockchain, as a Death Row Mixtape 'Dogg on it" on OpenSea. "High" was the first song he dropped from the project. Hearing the song, I was inspired to lace it with lyrical references of taking our Power back, how I am... how we All are showing up in the space, as One United Community here in Web3 and NFTs - “One Blood, One People, One Giant Crew.” So I got down. The piece was conceptualized, directed and edited by myself, a longtime Film and Video Editor, bringing together the iconic imagery of our Apes - Dr. Bombay and Redbone - in this visual representation of a full length NFT Experience of the song and the Energy of the tune.

And as the First Advanced Pre-Release of the Bored Ape Record Club leading up to the release of the "Bored Ape Yacht Club Anthem" Genesis Drop, the piece is playing with traditional promo singles, mixtape culture, promotional materials and white label records. “White Labels” - named for their plain white label with little to no information on it - can be test pressings, or small batch pressings for indie labels to get new tracks into record stores and in the hands of DJs - or given out to DJs, critics and stores leading up to releases to help promote drops and albums.
