From the artist: In the wilderness of the American west, a wild appaloosa horse emerges from fog and darkness. It splashes along the shores of a shallow river at a gallop. It has a white coat with brown spots and its mane and tail are also white.

I really like the way the lighting turned out in this image. In fact, this image really started as a sketch for a larger work of mine, but I decided that I also like the closer view of the horse, so I worked on the lighting bit and added a lot of fog.
