One of my favorite places to visit is the Hawaiian island of Maui. One of our last visits there we spent a day driving the road to Hana, stopping at every waterfall and roadside banana bread booth we could find. On the way back, just as we were approaching the center of the island, we saw this unreal cloud formation pouring into this stretch of the coast. 
 This viewpoint, called Ho’okipa is a popular surf spot, and on big wave days, there are tons of cars up and down the road in both directions. This day, that last light was being enjoyed by just a handful of surfers and I waited there to catch them catch the last few waves of the evening.
