The zaps started happening a few weeks ago. At first, I thought they were just random, isolated incidents. But then they started happening more frequently, and I began to notice other changes in myself as well. I was more irritable, more prone to fits of anger. And I could hear a voice, a dark influence, whispering in my ear. It was always there, just out of reach, taunting me, confusing me.
I tried to ignore it, but the voice was always there, nagging at me, whispering that I was changing, that I was becoming something else. And with each zap, more and more of me was lost.
