While shooting some light trails from the Manhattan Bridge, I looked up to find the moon hanging over me at blue hour. I wanted to create a minimal photo, and this is what came from it.

17 USD collection image

“17 USD” is my genesis collection of images that I’ve taken in the city that sparked my passion for photography.

When I bought my first camera in 2018, I quickly became obsessed with NYC photography through social media. At that time, I had never been to the city alone, but one day I anxiously got on a train and told myself I’d figure it out. That sparked an obsession.

From then on, I wanted to go shoot every day I could. The problem was getting to NYC from my hometown in NJ, which meant that I had to spend money. I wasn't making much income, so I was constantly met with the struggle of deciding whether or not I could afford to pay the $17 train ticket from my hometown to Manhattan, which is the best way to travel between the two places. All the times I said yes have allowed me to build myself up as a photographer and be able to put this collection together.

Collectors will have the choice of a print and will gain early access into future projects.
