Communal life practices in Gezi Park
This collection contains sections from the biggest popular resistance in the recent history of Turkey.
The political power started cutting the trees in Taksim Gezi Park in order to rebuild the Artillery Barracks. Sensitive citizens, who opposed the cutting of trees and the construction of Artillery Barracks in green areas, gathered in Gezi Park and tried to express their reactions.
The police's attempt to suppress the demonstrators by using disproportionate force further increased the protesters' reactions. The demonstrations that started in Gezi Park spread all over the country and got out of control.
The photographs in this collection were taken on 11 June 2013.
I believe that I will make a valuable contribution to the world of NFT with this rare collection.
I hope that this collection will also be the voice of all the beautiful people who lost their lives during the protests.
