In 2016 I joined a hacker space in small town in the South and it was filled with so many amazing toys and tools for hackers and makers. A fundamental skill of all hackers, and the starting point for our hacker space, was lock picking. I simply love the act of picking locks, its oddly therapeutic. I travel with my lock picking kit, always. Even though I've never actually picked a lock on a door or anything, only sitting on my couch playing with a master lock. This same community graciously taught me the ins and outs of personal opsec, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
