Gol Gumbaz is a 17th-century mausoleum located in the city of Bijapur (now Vijayapura) in Karnataka, India. It houses the remains of Mohammad Adil Shah, the seventh sultan of the Adil Shahi dynasty, and some of his relatives. Begun in the mid-17th century, the structure was never completed but is notable for its large, round dome and impressive scale. Impressed by the clean and neat surroundings of the mausoleum, which inspired me to take a photo sphere of the site.
