Oxpeckers can be both useful and extremely annoying to the large herbivores they are trying to rid of parasites.
These little birds main food sources include ticks, blood and ear wax which they remove and extract from large herbivores like buffalo, giraffe and sometimes even hippos.
This little Oxpecker seemed to be whispering something to this battled scared old hippo bull while clearing his only ear of unwanted parasites.
