Elephants will often "bath" themselves in dust to help cool off but also to help remove unwanted parasites and other things. They scrape up dust in their trunk and then throw it back onto themselves as this large bull elephant is doing. The result of which is not only useful to the elephants but also then provides for dramatic photographs.
