Waters of Glacier
Lake McDonald Morning
Sunrise at Lake McDonald docks was at the top of my list for my visit to Glacier, and even with perfectly clear skies, it did not disappoint. Arriving in the dark and watching the light slowly make it's way across the distant mountain peaks was a ethereal experience. The perfectly calm lake and clear water is quite the invitation to go for a morning swim. The water is warmer than it looks, but will still wake you up better than a cup of coffee.
