Evermore Fairytale.
This photo was taken from my first apartment in Tromsø. It took a while for me to fully comprehend that this was my bedroom view. Still remembering the falling-apart soviet blocks I've gotten used to. Seeing this view was such a big thing for me. I felt like I would never see landscapes that look like this - like a fairytale. Like something completely unreal. This is Evermore Fairytale.

When I'm looking out of my glass condo walls from the 48th floor, I see concrete jungles of Canada - The City of Toronto. But I can't forget the feeling I had when it all started for me 6 years ago, when I packed my bags at 16 years old to move to a country of my dreams - Norway.
This collection and its contextual meaning is as symbolic to me as The Statue Of Liberty to immigrants arriving to America in 1920s. It was a symbol of opportunities, freedom and promising future. Especially for a freckled high-school student, moving from a not-so-promising reality of the eastern world. The endless sight-lines spreading long way across Norwegian mountains in the harbour city of Tromsø was my dream come true for 4 incredible years.
As the time went by and my curiosity for the distant concrete jungles, somewhere there across the ocean, somewhere in the Americas grew, that life-changing victory - stepping on Norwegian lands for the first time, has always remained the first grand breakthrough I've ever made.
After years I find these photos and they bring me back to where it all started. Norge. Det landet æ kalte hjæm.
