If you ask me which wild cat amazes me the most, I would say ‘Leopard’. This image is a testimony to that.

Leopards are the most agile of the wild cats, they will climb trees to hoist kills (stashing them out of the reach of hyenas and other scavengers) or to flee from wild dogs, hyenas or lions. It is a skill they hone from younger days as it is critical for their survival. The sheer skill these cats posses of ascending trees, is something one needs to see it to believe it.

This is a dream come true frame. Barely a nano second moment but to get it right took years of on-field time with the camera, understanding of animal behavior and accurate placement of the safari vehicle anticipating the movement of the cat . I always believe Nature will reward you, if you are patient and this was my lucky day.

I had this gorgeous cat give me the perfect shot and I am happy to share it with all of you, as my Maiden Edition.
