Title: A Moment to Slow Down
Collection Name: The One With The Mountains
Artist Name: Haesum Ali

Location: Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan
Description: Passu Cones are located in a small village called Passu in the Gojal valley in the Hunza district of the Gilgit Baltistan region in Pakistan. The most noteworthy purpose of the zone is Mount Tu Popdan at a height of 6, 106 meters from ocean level. I had a chance to shoot this amazing scene when the tip of the cones was lit but the sunrays.

This is for the one in the mountains. Where the sky meets earth. Where you see majesty and beauty, where you see all that nature has to offer, and so much more. This one is for the mountains, where you hear stories of genies that haunt you and fairies that want you. One look at these magnificent summits, all you can do is get lost but This is where you go, not to get lost, but to find yourself. You see calm in the chaos, you see serenity in the wild and wilderness. You wonder how something can be so elevating and yet so grounding. How can something so spectacularly majestic make you feel so small physically but also make you feel as though the entire universe is enfolded within you! A collection dedicated to the unsung heroes of the mountains, working as potters and guides. To the ones in the background, dedicated and content.
