Back Story Part 1- Name: Ndebele Age: 19 Birth place: Gauteng Province, South Africa Birth Date: September 8th 1870 Personality: Clever, Brave, very outgoing Favorite Foods: Corn, Maize and sigangatsha

Back Story Part 2 Childhood: As a descendant of Chief Mabhogo, Ndebele enjoyed a good life. She was highly educated with many friends and loved to explore new adventures. Nothing captured Ndebele’s heart like her tribal art. She created the most beautiful art in all of the land.

Back Story Part 3 In 1883, while Ndebele was 13 a war broke out between the northern and southern tribes. Although both tribes where bound together by ancestral blood, the war was most gruesome. Ndebele and the Chiefs closest family hide safely during the war. Everyday 2 brave women would leave there hiding place to gather needed food and supplies. Although only 13 Ndebele was frequently selected to gather the needed items, until one day when she and her friend was detected by enemy soldiers. Ndebele being clever and extremely beautiful was able to broker a deal to escape torture and death for both herself and her friend. They where set free and but on a ship headed to Britain.

Back Story Part 4 Although free from the ravaging war, Ndebele for the first time in her life experienced severe poverty. Struggling to make her way, she decided to take a modern spin old traditions. Instead of painting tribal art, she used vibrant colors for make-up designs that appealed to Britain's rich. After saving for 5 years she was able to move to Canada and start her own make-up and skin care company. Ndebele continued to wear hear tribal neck rings as a sign of unity with her people.
