Composition: Universe gem has 5 gold rings forming a concentric circle and rotates in different directions. Specially processed pearls are placed in the center.

The artist produced works inspired by Korea's Honcheon-ui made by scientists from the Sejong period of the Joseon Dynasty in the 15th century. Honcheonui is a astronomical observation device, and its structure is a structure in which several concentric circles rotate around a sphere. This explains the relationship of the gravitational force gathering around the sphere, which was said to mean the earth at the beginning of its creation and the sun later. The rotating circles initially represented the moon and later the solar system planets.

I thought this was like a personal life. The pearl in the middle represents the individual. The concentric circle orbiting at a reasonable distance is the other person. People keep their distance from relationships with others, get closer and depend on each other. Among them, the most central one is'I'.

The artist wanted to visually show that individuals have a universe and orbit each other.

작가는 15세기 조선시대 세종시기의 과학자들이 만든 혼천의에서 영감을 받아 작품을 제작했습니다. 혼천의는 천체 관측 기구로, 구조는 구를 중심으로 여러 동심원들이 회전하는 구조입니다. 이것은 구를 중심으로 모이는 중력의 관계를 설명하는데, 제작 초기에는 지구를 의미했고 나중에는 태양을 의미했다고 합니다. 회전하는 원들은 초기에는 달을, 나중에는 태양계 행성을 나타냈습니다.

저는 이것이 개인의 삶과 닮아있다고 생각했습니다. 가운데 있는 진주는 개인을 의미합니다. 적당한 거리를 유지하며 공전하는 동심원은 타인입니다. 사람은 타인과의 관계에서 자신의 거리를 유지하며 가까워지고 서로 의존해 살아갑니다. 그 중에서도 가장 중심에 있는것은 '나 자신' 이겠죠.

작가는 개개인이 서로가 서로를 공전하며 하나의 우주를 가지고 있는것을 시각적으로 나타내고자 했습니다.
