Indonesia is my dream country that i always want to visit. My dreams came true by the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Republic of Indonesia in 2017. I was really surprised when i received the email, they wanted me to promote their country.
Within the scope of this photography project that called ‘’Wonderful Indonesia’’, one of the places that impressed me the most in Indonesia was Mt. Bromo. They arranged lots of fascinating tours, but the hardest one was climbing Mt. Bromo.We arrived the mountain viewing point for chasing sunrise at about 3 a.m. Since it was quite dark, we waited for a while until the sun started to rise from behind the mountains.
I saw photographers and nature lovers from all over the world at the same viewing point. Everyone had only one purpose, it was just to watch and take pictures of Mt. Bromo. I was fascinated by the beauties of the scene like everyone. Mt. Bromo was a still active volcano, you could see the smoke billowing out of a volcano and also ashes at the surface. I was very lucky to witness such an event for the first time in my life.
