Fireworks are the most popular summer event in Japan. Every Japanese person has spent a summer watching fireworks. That's how much fireworks are a part of Japanese life. However, due to the recent pandemic, many fireworks displays have been cancelled. I sincerely hope that the day will come soon when we can all look up at the night sky together like I did with this past fireworks display I photographed.
