Death 1: Death welcomes life

I sat back and stared out the window next to a door in front of me as I typed away, wondering what could have been, what was out there, and where I could go. I dreamed a dreamer's life, tolling away at nine to five. I was hoping that this change of pace would change me for the better to get the things that I wanted and needed. I was always dreaming, always hoping that there would be a way, waiting for the chance to set me free from my dreaming.

One day, a little girl came through my door with a pep in her step.

I stopped what I was doing and looked up, even leaning forward in my chair, curiously watching her. She stared up at me with the most beautiful smile on her face. I couldn't help but ask her, "Why are you so happy today?"

She replied, "Because I noticed you through your window and wanted to say hello."

I looked at her, wondering if there was more that she wanted to say, but she kept on smiling. Finally, she was done looking at me with those intense dark brown eyes. I could only fall deeper into those eyes of innocent wonder. It was as if she knew everything but nothing and as if the world was her playground. She didn't say anything more. Instead, she turned around and left, taking with her the happiness around her.

I couldn't help but lean back, wondering what had just happened—missing the feeling that the little girl had brought in.

Time passed. I couldn't sit still. Instead, I was walking back and forth, anxious for some reason. I was thinking about the little girl and what she had brought.

I looked over and over again at the window, but my eyes rested at the door.

Should I? I questioned myself again in my head.

Until finally, I spoke out loud unconsciously, "I should."

With one step after another, I walked towards the door, reaching to turn the doorknob and pull open the door. The fresh air of the summer sun welcomed me, but I did not stop as I closed the door behind me.

At that moment, I could only say goodbye to my old self and hello to my dream.

Screeeeechhhh! Back you fiend! Excuse me sirs and madames. I was taking care of a few new rare collections that have arrived. But, unfortunately, they aren't quite tamed. Honestly, I would be a fool to believe that can be tamed.

Welcome to the lobby of Rare Monsters that are collected from specific humans from the dark recess of their souls. We have caught and caged such monsters in a picture. Each one that we show can be bought are rare collectibles. Each collection has its level of freedom. Depending on how dangerous they are, some might have sounds, movements, or frozen in place. I advise you to be wary.

The moment you obtain the cards are considered the picture is dangerous enough. To be even allowed for them to move and have sound...I shudder what they could do to you to escape!

Well, I hope you enjoy your stay, and welcome to the Monster In Us Collection.
