This photograph is a classic representation of a modern day human life. How? Well you can see in this picture there’s a man and a horse faced opposite to each other. We humans as a species have come a long way to reach this civilization. We have a civilized society and modern technology. We reach distant continents in a matter of few hours. We use internet to communicate our distant relatives and friends. Anything we need or require is one click away from us. But all these at what cost? We actually have lost the connection with mother earth. Being an earthling ourselves we have drifted so far away from pure nature. We make plans and predictions of tomorrow. But nature is unpredictable and wild always. Seldom we tend to forget that we humans are a part of nature as well. In the ancient days people would travel from place to place by riding a horse, where there is no brakes or acceleration whatsoever. Now on the other hand we have luxury cars which are automated. This photograph is in no way against modern technology or science, but this is a small reminder to all of us that ‘we are a part of nature’. In this rush of catching up with the new world we have forgotten to take a bare footed walk on the grass. We don’t look at the stars or the blue sky any more. Our vision’s occupied by our laptop or phone screens. I’d like for all of us to take a small break or even slow up our pace for once and go out in the nature and soak it all in. We wonder and travel to other galaxies with the wish to explore universe but many a times we fail to remember that we are a part of that very universe, our planet on which we live is a celestial body as well. Humans are superior to other animals on this planet not because of our technologies necessarily, but because of the greatness that we can achieve by being kind to the planet and it’s children. I have edited this photo in black and white specifically cause i think the grey tones can bring up a colorful memory of the old days.

That day I went to Maidan in the early morning.it was around 5/5.30 am. There was not a single person there. Only a few birds and these horses. After an hour or so, this man came to do some yoga. And I was actually thinking of a frame just like this. The man and the horse were walking away from each other and I captured this moment.

I present to you my 2nd edition ‘ In Bleak Mid Winter’ . If you collect 2 images the 3rd one will be airdropped to your wallet by me. This edition contains a bundle of 3 images. The photographs were taken on a misty morning in the mid winter, hence the name. These photos are a blend of light and shadow. A bit of cool and warm tones. And each of then has a very unique story behind it.
