Sometimes Thalia feels like the butt of a bad joke. She not only has to inspire humour in this sh*tshow called "modern life" but she was made Muse of Agriculture and Geometry too. But, being a glass-half-full kinda gal, she hustled hard advancing farming and maths for a few centuries, and now spends her free time doing stand-up and sending stoners "deep" insights for her own amusement. Thalia's never cried with sadness and has major FOMO about it. Making up jokes about her twin sister Melpomene soon cheers her up though.
Greek myth describes the Muses as agents of inspiration. They gave artists, inventors and philosophers the ideas that built modern civilisation. Every invention, every discovery, every masterpiece, came from these 9 immortal women.
And if the Muses were real? If they were still alive today? We think they'd want to rewrite history.
Releasing in 2022, The Muses is a narrative NFT project on a mission to tell a different version of events, highlighting the womxn and minorities who built civilisation as we know it, for a more inclusive Web3. Our end goal is to develop and produce a live-action TV series that will spread our message of inclusivity as far and wide as possible.
