Welcome to the Dark City. A city known for both its glamour and grit. A city perpetually engulfed in deep fog, rain or snow. A city where people have no faces, only shadows and silhouettes. Traffic lights, street lamps and car beams diffuse their tinted glow with quietude, piercing the mist and offering little comfort to the people of the Dark City. Characters are often caught wandering alone in the middle of the night, highlighting the smallness of man, lost amongst the gigantism of the city and its buildings.

The Dark City Chronicles is a neo-noir collection of 40 pieces selected among my most iconic work. Those photos were shot across the streets of New York and Chicago, often late at night. I play with colors, light and shadows to give my images a vintage, magical appeal. The series features some classic themes of the neo-noir genre such as loneliness and paranoia.
