A photo that I still can’t believe I actually managed to capture, but somehow did. Even with my slow auto-focusing Sony SEL 50mm AND not using continuous AF(legit didn’t even know that was a setting on my camera when I shot this) I was still able to get this picture. But yeah, nothing to see here, just a photo of Bear and Chloe in chase, with Bear in midair, both having a blast playing together. When spring time rolls around, all of the cats LOVE to run about in the field in my front yard. They just LOVE to play with one another in that wide open space. This image practically sums up that whole thing, showcasing nothing but fun and absolute glee these kitties experience whilst playing during the early days of May. I remember I was snapping numerous pics at the time, I still wasn’t able to exactly spam the shutter yet(since all I had was a 64GB sd card that was already p much filled to the brim) so I had to be mindful of the shots I took. But while I was snapping pictures of them all, something came out of nowhere and told me to just start holding the shutter down. I did just that, and within seconds, Chloe came darting around the corner in chase of bear. The two respectively both took a big leap, and when I realized I had captured that moment, I just laughed. Up until that point, I really hadn’t managed to get any photos of the cats moving at higher speeds, so needless to say, this was somewhat of a breakthrough. And for that reason, it’ll always be one of my favorite cat photos. I live in a remote area in Ohio. My house sits practically in the middle of a forest, I’m almost constantly surrounded by nature And cats. I have about 15-24 cats. Seven of them live inside, while the rest live outside. Despite the outside cats being more on the wild side, they still call my front porch their home. I feed them, tend to them if they get sick, and provide them with shelter whenever we have an exceptionally harsh winter here(like last year). As you can probably imagine, I consider each one of them an important part of my family. And as such, I’ve always made sure take pictures of them. I’ve been interested in photography for about half of my life, however, I only just started shooting consistently last year. since then, I’ve made it a priority to take as many photos of my fuzzy family members as I possibly can. This photography collection is meant to be a culmination of all of my hard work in doing so. With these photos, I tried to give them a sort of wildlife photography look, as most of these photos consist of my outside cats. With them living in the middle of the woods, I can get some fantastic backdrops that’ll be sure to remind you of wildlife photos. Each photo is a 1/1, includes two extra photos of the cat in particular, airdropped 48 hours after purchasing, and a 16x20” PHYSICAL PRINT sent to the initial collector. Just DM me on twitter and I’ll hook you up!
