JAPE story
Matoko was being sold as a pet with Likenze, before he was rescued by the Ministry of Environment in a trap to catch the hunters. Part of the youngest group of gorillas, not yet reintroduced into the wild, he was still good friends with Likendze. It took me hours to get this picture, he seemed to understand I wanted a picture of him looking into camera, but every time I lifted my camera to do it, he would look away.
