This refers to wage slave jobs not paying in magic internet money. There is a long history of crypto memes of fast food workers getting involved in crypto as a way to escape the drudgery of working in fast food jobs.
I, too used to dream of being free when I had shitty jobs. For me, wage slavery was my ultimate demon. I had to claw my way out to get free and I will never forget just how bad it felt to do mundane work that didn’t feed my imagination. Drugs are often the only short-term viable way out of drudgery.
