This image is an edition piece, the supply is 50. A "snapshot" or "moment frozen in time" is literally what this piece represents, it is one moment that occurred within this universe that I had been able to put myself in and with the push of a button freeze forever and share with you. This image was taken in January of 2016, in the freezing cold waters off the coast of New Jersey, where my journey began by engaging with the Ocean at a very young age. It never mattered how cold the air or water was for me, I was out there because I loved being in the moment, in sync with the flow of energy in the ocean, and being totally aware. It is my place of peace, truly being in the moment, and on this day the water temperature was near freezing and the air temperature well below that. Despite having the thickest wetsuit, booties, gloves, and a heated vest underneath, I could barely feel my face or extremities when I took this photo. I gave this image a warmer edit to convey the idea of overcoming limits and the internal boundaries I can often let hold me back. However, this was a day when those boundaries were pushed through. The pure joy when I finally processed the image using my workflow in Lightroom was exhilarating.
