The 44 - 1/1 portraits, taken with 15 different analog cameras, are film photography portraits shot between 2016 and 2021 by Mithat Erdoğan.

I was born in Adana, Turkey in 1984. I am currently residing in Muğla, Turkey. I studied economics at Istanbul University and have been working as a tax advisor since September 2007. I started to shoot analog photography in 2015. I mainly shoot portrait, model, street and documentary photography.

When I go out and wander in the streets while my 35mm analog camera hanging around my neck I feel like Dziga Vertov’s “Man with a Movie Camera”. The only difference is that mine is not a movie camera. Yet I still believe that I do have the right to feel like the man with a movie camera because I also do shoot scenes of ordinary daily life in Turkey through shooting the portrait photographs of the stars of ordinary daily life in Turkey who are ordinary people!
