1000 Hours – From the Cockpit #001: Created by CHRISTOPHΞJR

The Air Mission Request came down for a Medical Evacuation 101 for the hospital personnel of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. We dedicated three aircraft towards training what are our medical capabilities, how to load a patient, and the opportunity to load blades spinning. After the “patient” is loaded, we took off towards north shore giving many their first and only flight in a UH-60 Blackhawk. Lindsey on the controls maintaining her distance from our sister-ship at our 11 o’clock.

Being an Aeromedical Evacuation Officer for the Army piloting the UH-60 MEDEVAC Blackhawk has given me amazing views from above. I’ve flown just under 1000 hours. These photos are raw, in the moment, and capture some of my favorite moments during flight. Each bringing you into the cockpit with me.
A few selected photos of this collection have companions waiting to be airdropped to the collector.
Past airdrops can be found at my companion collection: https://opensea.io/collection/1000hourscompanions
50% of profits from these sales will go back to those who served yet struggle with their own internal battles. These proceeds will help fund to Stop Soldier Suicide: https://stopsoldiersuicide.org and https://k9sforwarriors.org
My mission is to help bring soldiers home during their darkest hour. Help me take care of them once they get there.
