The number 277 is the fifty-ninth prime in the sequence. It is the younger cousin of 281. It is a super-prime which is a prime number who's index in the prime sequence - in this case 59 - is also prime. Since 59 is also a super-prime, being the 17th prime, 277 is also a super-super-prime. 17 is also a super-prime being the 7th prime number, making 277 a super-super-super-prime. It's not primes all the way down as 7 is the 4th prime, which is not a prime.
Where would crypto be without prime numbers? This project is my homage to the primes - each day I will release a new prime rendered in simple block and colour form. Each prime will also come with its own attributes - is it a twin? is it circular? Find out each day!
And while there are infinite primes (thanks Euclid!) each prime itself is unique.
