This is it. Clean blue water, glassy waves, and glowing sunshine with no one else around for miles. It's becoming rarer and rarer as the population grows and the special places are plastered all over the internet sending the crowds flocking to previously unknown spots. Some get annoyed about this phenomenon understandably, however, while rare, these moments are just more special to me.
I'm not sure if I am the only one to say this but I am actually grateful for the world flipping upside down during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through all the horrors and all the negativity, my time in the surf and my wave count, often to myself has grown as exponentially as Covid itself. I have also been able to spend so many precious moments with my very new family and my young children.
For this I am forever grateful and this image will hold this feeling forever in time for me.

Seeing the textures of the sea and coastal regions from a birds-eye view is a beautiful art form and sharing it with others is what my art is all about.
The textures of the ocean have always captured my imagination and each of these images represents how I see the beauty of nature and people interacting within her space.
