富山県射水市には、日本のベニスと言われる観光スポットがあります。

内川は、富山新港から東西約3420メートルを結ぶ運河。海から海へとつながる珍しい川です。

古くから地域住民の生活と深く関わりをもった川として、親しまれてきました。

川べりには民家が立ち並び、川の両岸に漁船が連なって繋留されている風景は、どこか懐かしさを感じさせ、「日本のベニス」と称されています。
