I was attracted by the way the small vermilion-lacquered gate gently added color to the moss-covered stairs. 朱雀門と呼ばれているその門。現代は使われていませんが、その昔、極楽院が本堂の時は正門でした。小さな朱塗りの門が苔むした階段にそっと色を添えている様子に惹かれました。
