This is a photo taken by Chip Walker of a woman crossing the street outside of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on 17th & Pennsylvania during a Vietnam draft protest in the late 60's. This token comes with an unlockable high-quality .jpg of the negative as an IPFS link. Medium format negatives were scanned at 300 dpi and are high res: 5241 x 5229. Holders of Chip NFT's will eventually have the opportunity to burn their digital NFTs in exchange for physical prints directly from the negatives.
Daughter of late photographer Carroll Herbert Walker. 60's & 70's. Carroll, also known as Chip, graduated from Maury High School in 1961, and George Washington University in 1965, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She lived in Washington, DC working at various publications. She also traveled extensively across Europe. Chip Walker was an editor, an activist, and a dedicated photographer. She passed away December 2020 before receiving the recognition she deserved.
