This is a photo taken by Chip Walker of a woman crossing the street outside of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on 17th & Pennsylvania during a Vietnam draft protest in the late 60's. Daughter of late photographer Carroll Herbert Walker. 60's & 70's. Carroll, also known as Chip, graduated from Maury High School in 1961, and George Washington University in 1965, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She lived in Washington, DC working at various publications. She also traveled extensively across Europe. Chip Walker was an editor, an activist, and a dedicated photographer. She passed away December 2020 before receiving the recognition she deserved.
