The story of Chip Walker is not an easy one to tell. Chip Walker passed away on December 17, 2020. This family photograph served as a reference to confirm whom Chip was and where she came from. I began my journey in an effort to better understand Chip and the life she lived. Without this photograph, just like the press card, it's quite possible we would never know the identity of this incredible human today. What seems like a quick family photo, has helped me connect dots to confirm who her father was and to ensure her work is further preserved.

Since this was where I started my journey years ago, I now want to share this with 20 collectors that also feel inspired and want to be a part of our movement to preserve Chip's legacy. We're lucky she inadvertenly left behind clues for the world to celebrate her life. Chip Walker was in essence the Vivian Maier of the civil rights movement. This monumental effort will serve future generations by making moments we will never get back, accessible to anyone interested in Chip's work.

This photograph taken by Carroll "Chip" Walker depicts Carroll H. Walker (her Dad) & Carroll H. Walker, Jr. (Skip). This comes with an unlockable high-quality .jpg of the negative as an IPFS. Negatives were scanned at 300 dpi and are high res: 3900 x 2600. Owners of Chip's NFT's will also have the opportunity to burn their digital NFT in exchange for a physical print directly from the negative.
