"Home of the Porno Stars" for decades, Benny's was known as the Rebel Room. Having closed 1984...you can still almost imagine that you hear the strains of jazz classics that spilled out the front door of Benny's long before unshaven hawkers beckoned passers-by to "come in and see the girls."

Benny's was the home of Dixieland jazz, which attracted an appreciative, if raucous crowd. Across the street at the Casino Royal (now a sex mini-conglomerate), and the long- gone Blue Mirror, the floor shows featured major stars of the day. The strip joints, such as they were, were located on 9th Street, near the Gayety burlesque.

This is a photo taken by Chip Walker detailing a scene in D.C.'s "red light district". Your purchase comes with an unlockable high-quality .jpg of the negative as an IPFS. Negatives were scanned at 300 dpi and are high res: 3900 x 2600. Owners of Chip's NFT's will also have the opportunity to burn their digital NFT in exchange for a physical print directly from the negative.
