Our relationship flourished in our hikes together and Sedona may have the best hiking I've ever experienced. We had been back in AZ for maybe two weeks, but our time in the canyons hiking felt like a vacation, one we both deeply needed.

In 2017 and 2018 I traveled North America filming a documentary with my wife (fiancé at that time) 40,000km and 9 months of living on the road. Three months into the project we lost My Wife's Father. The photos I took during this time were an artistic release from the analytical documentary style of filming we were doing and also the grief of losing my father-in-law. I really discovered my own style and processes in this journey.
The photos are in no order, the descriptions are my experience of the moment when I took the photo.
