The core artistic and ideological concept of the digital graphic series for The Great Tokyo Empire came to me in a dream through a broken Tamagotchi. It kept asking me, all unsatisfied and hungry, to press the 3C button. In all different stages of its development (as an egg, infant, child, teenager, and even adult) it continued to describe to me a bunch of different scenes and sceneries that I immediately had to implement and realize on my computer right after waking up.

I am Vladimir 518 (born Vladimír Brož in 1978), multimedia artist. My career began on prague graffiti scene. I have created a large number of book illustrations, graphic designs, comics, theatre stage designs and also classical art, such as canvases, objects and collages. My art projects have been printed by many prestigious foreign magazines, e.g. german LoDown, slovenian Stripburger, Rolling Stone or english Dazed & Confused.
