The first character to appear, who are they?
Tangibly created from the intangible.
A different type of exploration within my practice, but one that feels familiar. I used to exclusively paint abstract portraits, hiding the figures within layers of sound and texture on the canvas/paper/walls. To return to this style, knowing what I know now with how my practice has developed over the years it feels like greeting an old friend. Or rather, multiple friends.
I always have these faces and figures in my mind, so creating these abstract portraits and immortalising them on the blockchain feels like a good way to document them.
Digital painting - A4 size.
