Shamuria by Jeremiah Allen Welch 2020 Created using Gravity Sketch and C4D 4000 x 2096 Shamu No means Siamese in Japanese and Rai means trust; lightning, thunder in Japanese. The title is also a play on Samurai. This piece is inspired by the beauty and elegance of Betta splendens, the Siamese fighting fish. These fish are native to Asia, where they live in the shallow water of marshes, ponds, or slow-moving streams. The males are devoted fathers who build bubble nests for their young with their mouths and fiercely protect their babies from predators. Just like us, these fish are diurnal and require darkness to get a good night’s rest zzzz

This item will also come with a physical version printed on canvas and hand embellished by the artist.
