Gratitude played a pivotal role in my healing. My divorce had been dragging on for 3 years and I was deep in the throes of despair when I happened upon a little book about gratitude that changed my way of thinking and my life. The moment I stopped focusing on all the things I had lost and began focusing on everything I still had was the moment I began to heal. I sat and sobbed as this profound wisdom sank into my bones and the realization that I was going to be just fine bubbled up into my mind and heart.

I have a unquenchable passion for exploring the outdoors and an adventurous spirit. I quit my job in healthcare ten years ago after a painful divorce and chose a whole new life geared to pursuing my love for travel and photography as a nomad full-time. It was a terrifying leap of faith, but it has changed my life and been more fulfilling than I could have ever imagined.
To me, the wide open spaces of the southwest represent freedom and infinite possibilities. It was one of the first places I went as I started my new life:
-free from abuse,
-free from preconceived societal norms,
-free to pursue my passions,
-free to explore,
-free to live in the moment.
This collection is born from my adventures. It showcases images infused with bright colors and themes of joy, positivity and the pursuit of happiness.
