This piece is an intervention of Platzi´s logo using javascript. In Carlos Jimenez in 2015 created the current Platzi´s logo, after the company entered an acceleration program for startups in Y combinator.
The logo uses a variation of a typeface called Intro, to which Carlos made adjustments in some terminations and size.
Modular arithmetic is used in a transversal way in all computer science, starting from the binary system, going through the decimal and hexadecimal system. In blochchain technology it is key because thanks to it there are cryptographic hash functions. Hashing is a one-way function: it is easy to go from input to hash, but extremely difficult to go the other way.
