Glacier National Park is where I fell in love with the mountains and outdoors. Growing up in NC, the first time I visited Montana I was blown away at the dramatic scale of the mountains. It inspired me to come back out West time and time again, each time pushing my explorations a little further. After years of getting into every corner of the park, I've found my favorite spot, Kintla Lake. I can't think of a better way so spend the day than grabbing a few huckleberry bear claws from the bakery in Polebridge and making the 45 minute drive down that long gravel through the North Fork of Glacier. Hiking around the lake, swimming and catching sunset. Put all those things together, and you have my favorite day. I'm not sure I can describe it in writing or through a photograph, you're just gonna have to go do it to get it.

Part of my mission as a photographer is to capture and collect rare experiences. I've traveled the world, climbed mountains and have spent hours, days and sometimes weeks searching for beautiful scenes. Along that journey, there have been handful of times that go beyond being a simply beautiful photograph, and stand out as extraordinary moments of my story. This is a collection of my favorite memories, the moments when the universe aligned perfectly and I was fortunate enough to be standing in the right place at the right time with my camera in hand to capture it.
