There is a tradition of "gifting" at Burning Man, where people just simply give things to friends and strangers. It may be as little as a hug, some playa dust in a little vial you wear around your neck, or something like this!

Right after I took this, my friend Fred happened to appear with the woman he was about to propose to. He didn't see me, but I happened to get a photo of their proposal just in front of this. I shared it with our camp and they hung it over their bed.

Anyway, the very next year, Fred came over to my RV and said he had a gift! I followed him over to a little dome he had built, and he had brought a full porcelain bathtub with hot and cold water for me! There was a shelf with a bubble bath and everything. He said I could come any time and take as many bubble baths as I wanted. you can imagine the response when I would have friends at Burning Man and say, hey, would you like to have a bubble bath?
